Up, Up & Away

Charlotte’s parents wanted a very dainty hot air balloon party while drawing from Dr Seuss’ Oh the Places You Will Go (which we absolutely love).

The dessert table was brimming with yummy and beautiful treats by The Little Whisk (cookies and cake topper), Bunny Baker (cookies and cupcake toppers) and Citrus Sweets (birthday cake, cake pops, cupcakes). We had sparkly meringues, framed prints and florals to finish off the look. And let’s not forget that absolutely dreamy balloon garland with the flowers and leaves.

The gift and favors table were also dotted with hot air balloons with lush flowers. We had treats placed inside rustic baskets with cute little gift tags. The entrance showcased a poster of Charlotte’s milestones (provided by the client), which we placed on an easel and flanked by a mini balloon garland and floral wreath we made. Isn’t this the cutest?

Since most of the little guests are still babies, we suggested to have a styled sensory play area where the little ones can have some fun. We had wooden toys, sensory trays filled with oatmeal, scoopers and little animals, sensory water bottles with different contents, little board books. We placed these in huge hot air balloon baskets and white bins, surrounded by lush throw pillows, tassels and laid out fluffy rugs and mats. An even bigger balloon garland completed the look of the area. Let’s just say the after photos of this area prove that the babies had a lot of fun with the toys we provided.

We absolutely had a ball creating this party. Happy birthday, Charlotte!
